From its inception to its unknown conclusion, Canada has created many helpful and protective organizations and decisions but has also been in the involvement of drastic and damaging mistakes. Throughout the 20th century, Canada was a key component in multiple world-wide organizations and an important contributor in those associations. As an often middle ground between international arguments, Canada was able to stay impartial and negotiate a peaceful settlement. After the fallout from WW2 and the numerous wars still going on, Canada stood up and welcomed the many refugees that needed help. Both refugees coming from other countries and women already residing in Canada were in need of improved rights and freedoms. The identity of oneself and how they are treated by groups, organizations, and individuals is an important part for not only for single people for provinces as well. All countries, all throughout time, have made accomplishments and failures but the ones created in the last 70 years in Canada, can still be felt in our society.
